In the clinical setting, Dietitians On Demand serves acute care hospitals, long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities, rehab units, mental health institutions, and dialysis centers. We recruit and hire local consultant dietitians to work in your facility so you don’t have to worry about high per diem and travel expenses.
In the community, our registered dietitians are available for outpatient services in physician offices, fitness centers, restaurants, schools, corporate wellness, and public health fairs.
We select consultant dietitians based on their ability to meet specific criteria and qualifications, which includes review of all certifications and competencies. Each consultant dietitian placed by Dietitians On Demand operates as an independent contractor and carries individual liability and malpractice insurance.

Each Dietitian placed by Dietitians On Demand, LLC completes a thorough screening process:
- Interview in-person or by-phone
- Thorough Reference check
- Verification of R.D. credentials and state dietetic licensure, where required
- Clinical competency quiz (varies by assignment, minimum passing score 80%)
- Proof of liability insurance
- Copy of up-to-date PPD results (if applicable)
- Drug screen (varies by client)
- Criminal Background check
